Our main goal as school counselors is to support the social emotional health and learning of all students. We do this through individual and group counseling, problem solving meetings, classroom guidance lessons where we explicitly teach social/emotional skills, and advocating for the needs of all students by coordinating and collaborating with parents, teachers, administrators, and outside agencies. Our other roles/responsibilities include breakfast duty, Boys and Girls Club check in, 504 coordinator (Jen Henry), and organizing holiday assistance.
